  1. Coming in 2012

    This year the company is developing its international work as well as producing two new commissions and leading artist development programmes for a range of organisations. Look out for the following in 2012:

    • A brand new commission by Yael (created with company dancer Lyndsey McConville) for Cascade Dance Company as part of the Big Dance 2012 - South East in July.

    • Nic has also been commissioned By English National Ballet, Scottish Ballet & Dance Theatre Wales to create a dance for camera film working with 75 young people as part of this year's Cultural Olympiad

    • Yael has been invited by South East Dance to curate and lead 'Making Work for Outdoors, acourse for professional Choreographers leading up to Big Dance. For more information visit www.southeastdance.org.uk

    • Yael has been invited to lead a week long intensive at  Bewegungs Arts, Freiburg in August.

    • Yael and company dancer Lyndsey McConville will be teaching at Independent Dance (Siobhan Davies Studios) and Greenwich Dance this summer. Yael Flexer will be teaching at Independent Dance on 1st & 15th June and 3 July. Check out the websites for more dates and full information www.independentdance.co.uk  / www.greenwichdance.org.uk

    • Nic is leading the Dance for Camera Summer School at Middlesex University with company dancer, Luke Birch leading daily class

    • Nic will be presenting at the University of Chichester Somatics and Technology conference

  2. Arts Council Project Completed

    The Company has just finished an 18 month Arts Council England funded project consisting of:

    • the creation and touring of new live work The Living Room;

    • creation and distribution of two new installations Orbital  and Gravity Shift   as well as two new shop-front installations;

    • professional development intensives including work with All A Scrawl and Lila dance companies, who guest starred in The Living Room;

    • and an intensive community participation programme, including a project as part of the Making Tracks Rural Touring scheme funded by West Sussex County Council

  3. Future Plans

    The Company is now developing a new project for 2012 – 2013 to include a major new dance and disability installation, new community and professional development projects and a new live work from Yael Flexer that celebrates her 20th anniversary as a choreographer.
